  2. The Chinese Jagtiger: http://wotreplays.eu/site/4960026#steppes-blackroan-wz-111g_ft This TD has been much more enjoyable than I thought it would be. I still don't have the top gun (big 290 pen/750 alpha). It plays very much like a tougher, but less accurate Jagtiger. So if you like the Jagtiger, this is something you might enjoy. The entire line from VI on up was not very painful to grind. The gun I am using is basically a better version of what is on the WZ-111 5A (better pen and alpha same caliber).
  3. Italian by a mile. The tier VIII is not bad and is solid for FL. The Standard B is awesome. Mobile, good gun, and one sneaky bastard. Great for creeping up a flank and stabbing in the sides and back. The tier X while not used in CW is a great tank.
  4. I'd say you have the basics. From a gameplay perspective, really only missing a TVP or Progetto, so go for whichever of those floats your boat. At tier IX, I could see keeping the E50, Patton, 30prot, Standard B, and Skoda T50.
  5. +1 on Maida’s recs. Can’t go wrong with any of those. Having said that, while lstill great tanks, I feel like the czechs have been a little power creeped. There’s also the VTU to get through and that’s not fun. If I had to pick one, i’d Probably slightly favor the patton. The 48 is good fun and the 46 may be the best tier 9 med... that’s an argument, but don’t think anyone wouldn’t say it’s not one of the best.
  6. Progetto, TVP, or Patton 48. All great X's. All amazing IX's.
  7. At Tier X I currently have the Patton, E50M, Bat-Chat, 140, and 430U for medium tanks. My best results have been in the 430U (duh) and the Bat-Chat. Besides those above, what is your favorite Tier X medium? I'd also like to know which Tier 9 is a keeper in your opinion. I do like auto-loaders/re-loaders, but that isn't the only factor in my decision making.

  11. Living situation sounds like a challenge, but seems like you're up for it. Glad you found us, and welcome.
  12. Thanks for the update and the work you put in juggernaut!
  13. Thanks! Hello all, found the Discord 1st via the PAX Community affiliation, having been attending PAX the past couple years, about half as an Enforcer on staff. I'll be 34 in a week, I live in MD and have a 3 1/2 yr. old daughter. Been married for 5 years as of today actually, my wife is a teacher and I am a consultant for a contracting company, my current project has me in web development (.NET). My "dad-life stress" mostly center around the extra challenge of living with in-laws; about 6 months after we were married we found out my father in-law had lung cancer and 6 months after that he was gone. We moved in with her mom (and grandmom in the basement in-law suite) shortly after to help them keep the house and are slowing taking it over, too slow in my opinion but we're working on it. My wife is great, there's a lot of pressure on her to juggle all of this being in the middle of everything and she handles it well. If you're doing the math, yes, I live with 4 generations of my wife's family's women. Pray for me...kidding 🙂 As for gaming, I mostly play Final Fantasy XI, yea the 20 year old one, my brother, my cousin and I play together and have basically stuck together on there. If you happen to play and you're on Asura server look up our group, Seiten, or send me a message. I also play lots of Total War games...I'm not a big fan of PvP I just generally find I'm not very good at it, don't care enough, and it's not as fun. I like laid back collaborative games with strategy. My current offline project is building a swing set for my daughter, we got a used one from my neighbor and the plan was to restore it but it had so much decay I realized I was going to have to replace something every 6 months so my Dad and I are rebuilding it from scratch, we're almost done. After that I aim to fix up the backyard for hosting. I'm also into homebrewing beer with my brother and my dad, whole grain, we're not very good but it's fun and interesting. Best we've made so far is a dark brown that was very drinkable, pretty hoppy. We haven't gotten a good IPA down yet which is an annoyance bc it's our favorite style overall. Anyway that's me, glad to be here. Best way to contact me is via the Discord, I always have it up, feel free to send me a private message on there. I just don't keep track of forums very well. See you around!

  16. A couple of clarifying points: - 6,154 participating players refers to the number of players currently in the Alley of Fame and therefore the number of players eligible for rewards including ability to bid bonds for reward tanks. Need 5 battles to be included in the Alley of Fame. - I don’t recommend investing much of your personal fame in personal fame bonuses. I haven’t done all of the math, but a quick glance indicates that you’d be rolling the dice on us winning more often for the rest of the campaign than we have 😉 Investing the clan fame points to get 35% boost to future clan fame earnings is a pretty decent boost already. Recall that personal fame earned in a battle is equal to clan fame earned in a battle (plus personal fame bonuses). “Investing” means spending in this context... and therefore lowers your rank...
  17. Just invested our clan fame points to get us a 35% boost to fame per game. This likely means that the clan finishes lower ranked (and thus a lower clan multiplier on bonds), but am trading that off to give more people a chance to get bonds period as well as give more people a chance to get enough fame for something like a female crew member. I have spent a fair amount of time figuring this all out... so I think I understand it all now. Fire away with any questions about the below
  18. Hey, do me a favor and go to "general" and "introduce yourself here" and write a short note... part of our protocol. Thank you!

  24. Tips for Firewall Zero Hour: Operation Nightfall, Part Seven Here we go with the week 6 operations for Operation: Nightfall, season 1. Let’s jump in. Free Operation – Week 6 1.) Eliminate 4 players with a headshot using the holo sight attachment – must be done in the public contracts. The holo sight attachment is the primary sight 2 attachment. Unlocked at level 16. Just remember to equip this sight attachment and play some public contracts. 2.) Eliminate 2 players by blind-firing – must be done in the public contracts. This task is not very sensitive because I was not even purposely doing blind fires and I got credited for this. Blind fire should be when you hold your weapon out, away from you and fire down a hall, out a door or out of a window. 3.) Get 8 mutli-eliminations by killing more than one player at a time using any SMG – must be done in public contracts. I find most of my multi-eliminations is when you get kills without reloading. Helps when you happen around the corner and find two people. Down them both and then toss a grenade in there quick. It’s tough to get but as long as you have an SMG equipped, you will eventually get this. Much easier on smaller maps too, like Shoothouse. 4.) Eliminate 4 players with a headshot, using any SMG – must be done in public contracts. Just have to get headshots with SMG, and you should be aiming for a headshot anyway. 5.) Eliminate 16 players as Meiko (Contractor) – must be done in public contracts. Remember to use Meiko. Meiko has the Ninja perk which makes her quiet while sprinting, not showing up on enemy radar. For completing the Free Operation for week 6, you will unlock the Raptor SMG. Premium Operation – Week 6 1.) Eliminate 8 players using C4 – must be done in public contracts. Difficult to get. Definitely will help if you purchased the Node contractor who has the Afterlife skill allowing him to detonate C4 after death. Easiest on defense, and if you have the door blocker. You have to time it correctly and remember you have to hold that L1 button for a few seconds to detonate your C4. You must eliminate them, this will not count if you place C4 by a downed opponent. 2.) Execute 4 downed players using explosives - must be done in public contracts. Down enemies and then just throw a grenade. You just have to kill enemies that are downed. You can use C4 or any grenades. 3.) Get 4 multi-eliminations by eliminating more than one player at a time with explosions – must be done in public contracts. You can use any grenade or C4 or grenade launcher. Impact grenades are the weakest grenades, so best to try your luck with regular frag grenades or sticky. Remember that the contractor Red can get one extra frag grenade or you can equip the Bang Bang skill on your favorite contractor. 4.) Eliminate 4 players using frag grenades – must be done in public contracts. You could easily work on this while attempting the third task using frag grenades. 5.) Eliminate 4 players using impact grenades – must be done in public contracts. Impact grenades are the weakest grenades, so it is easier if you get a few bullets into your target first and then hit them with an impact grenade. Unless you hit someone right on, you will not kill an enemy with an impact grenade if they are at 100% health and it just hits near them. For completing the Premium Operation for week 6 and having the Ops Pass purchased, you will unlock the Falling Star trinket across all contractors and all guns. Bonus Operation – Week 6 Coming soon - I haven't unlocked this operation yet.
  25. Tips for Firewall Zero Hour: Operation Nightfall, Part Six Here we go with the week 5 operations for Operation: Nightfall, season 1. Let’s jump in. Free Operation – Week 5 1.) Initiate 16 laptop hacks – can be done in Terrorist Hunt solo or in public contracts. You do not have to finish the laptop hack and win the game, just be the person who initiates the hack. Obviously much easier in solo but if you communicate and your team is nice, can be easily done in public contracts as well. 2.) Locate and acquire 16 intel folders – can be done in Terrorist Hunt solo or in public contracts. I will post my grind video again at the end of this article. Easier to do in solo, but can be done in public contracts. Remember, there are 3 crypto and 1 intel folder pickup per map. 3.) Eliminate 16 players while wearing the skull face paint – must be done in public contracts. You do not unlock the skull face paint until level 42. Get the face paint, remember to equip it, and then seek out the enemy to complete this task. 4.) Use a signal modifier to speed up or jam 4 laptops – can be done in Terrorist Hunt solo or in public contracts. Very easy to do, you just have to remember to set it, or be alive at the end when on offense. For completing the week 5 Free operation, you will unlock the lock-pick (wink-wink) trinket for all weapons across all contractors. Premium Operation – Week 5 1.) As Okoro, eliminate 16 players using the Volkov HZ (AK-47) – must be done in public contracts. You unlock the Volkov at level 15. The silencer and Iceman perk (reduced recoil) will help with the Volkov. Firing in bursts will also help as the Volkov is very inaccurate, especially on full auto. Play enough however, and you will eventually complete this task. 2.) As Okoro, survive 16 enemy explosions – this can be done in Terrorist Hunt solo or public contracts. I am actually working on this during the grind video I made for intel and hacks on solo. Much easier in solo since the AI is pretty dumb. They regularly throw grenades as well as place proximity mines. Okoro’s permanent perk is received reduced damage from explosions. This makes it more likely for you to survive an explosion. You will still die if you hover directly over a grenade or mine, but you can survive more damage than any other contractor without this perk. Taking any amount of damage from an explosion and living will count towards this task. 3.) As Okoro, initiate 16 laptop hacks – can be done in Terrorist Hunt solo or public contracts. At this point, you should be an expert. You only have to initiate it, not finish. Will overlap with the same task for the Free operation. My grind video will be posted at the end of this article. 4.) As Okoro, earn 8,192 crypto – can be done in Terrorist Hunt solo or public contracts. Very easy to do, you just need to play. Even if you lose in public or solo, you will earn some crypto. Easier to get in public contracts since you tend to earn more crypto for your time in public. 5.) Eliminate 8 players using frag grenades – must be done in public contracts. You have to completely blow up an enemy and it cannot be done to downed opponents. Must also be frag grenades. Will not count with impact or sticky grenades. Remember that the contractor Red gets an extra frag grenade, or you can equip this perk on your favorite contractor if you wish to use someone else and need some extra grenades to get this. Play enough however, and you will certainly complete this task. For completing the Premium Operation week 5, and if you have the Ops Pass purchased, you will unlock the Lion Tooth trinket for all weapons. Bonus Operation – Week 5 1.) Block 8 doors wearing the crow face paint – can be done in Terrorists Hunt solo or in public contracts. You unlock the door blocker at level 42. That is really the only hold up for this one. Very easy to do. 2.) Eliminate 8 players while wearing raven face paint – must be done in public contracts. Just remember to equip this face paint on your contractor while playing multiplayer. 3.) Earn 8,292 crypto – can be done in Terrorists Hunt solo or in public contracts. Likely easier to earn in public contracts as you are going to earn more money, but it can be done solo and you can find up to three 50 crypto pickups in each map. 4.) Eliminate 32 players while wearing any face paint – must be done in public contracts. Just remember to equip a face pain, especially if you change your contractor. Easy to earn as you play public contracts. For finishing the Bonus Operation week 5, you will get the Pixel face paint unlocked across all contractors. Remember, you must have the Ops Pass purchased in order to unlock this skin.
