Enjoy your vaca Grant!... In NH we've gone from running the wood stove to frantically installing the window ACs within a day... it is summer now and I plan on a night of Mojitos!

One thing I miss about my youth was my Dad's garage at home.

A separate structure with all the amenities you could want.60 gal air compressor, Mig welder, cutting torches, frame puller, makeshift paintbooth, even an oil furnace for those northern winters.Only thing really missing was a hoist (didn't mind laying on the cold floor in my youth:rolleyes2)

I have been without all of that for well over a decade.Only thing I took with my was my own tools, and floor jack and jack stands.I have a nice attached 2-car garage however! But since it's attached, I'll never be irresponsible enough to try painting a car in there.I am however making future plans for a nice air compressor and welder.

Curious me, wondering what the rest of you have that work on your own vehicles?Anything to make me jealous?Pics?

I don't even have a shed, or closet for my tools.A shop was a staple growing up.My dad has always had a do whatever and store whatever you want kind of Shop.Go in and you could find what you needed to work on whatever you needed to work on.It was like everything was in stock and all the tools were shop.

Someday.....

Small garage...couple of tool boxesand things hanging on the wall. Air compressor is on porch because we don't have power in garage.

Just gotta go with what you like. I myself tend to buy most my stuff from rummage sales. Would love to find another old cheap beat up Snap-On on tool box to match the top chest I have.

My garage is about 30' x 20', enough for 2 cars and all my crap, in the process of tidying up again. Just made a tire rack for all our winter/summer tires.
