Love TW! Have most of them... I suggest Medieval 2 ($5 is worth every penny)... my personal Fav. You can get all kinds of cool mods for Med2, including Skyrim, Game of Thrones and Middle Earth.

SGrant7 : (14 July 2017 - 08:25 AM)

Ohhhh... Middle Earth would be pretty awesome!

Vikinger : (14 July 2017 - 08:37 AM)

Although not related to a book or movie, the Stainless Steel mod is pretty EPIC too.

Hmmmmm, $70 and my wife has Amazon Prime for this month.I think I might try hitting her up for this.:lol

I'm guessing since you posted this that you have it installed and no issues?Yes?

It's supposed to arrive later today but everything I've read about it seems to say it works fine in PS4.Once I start the process though I'll have an extra step.I'll need to backup the save files from my son's and wife's accounts. It looks like only the primary account's saves are uploaded to the servers.Hopefully I'll be able to post late tonight or early tomorrow that it went smoothly.

Well I got the drive installed but it took awhile due to usual Sony missteps.I had all kinds of problems getting the PS4 to read the update file saved to USB that I downloaded from this page. Then when I searched help I got to another page that has a larger update file to download. The file I got off that page (736mb) was the correct one. After install the 1tb drive read as 862gb free.

Some other gripes. When I went to copy my son's save files it wasn't as simple as "select all, copy".I had to go into individual games then copy to USB.Once I got the other drive running I went to copy the saves but then it says "cannot copy BF4 save, BF4 is not installed".So before I can copy his saves I have to go and install each of the games.:rant

Well I'm glad to hear that over all it went okay and that you were able to figure out some of the intricacies without something catastrophic happening. The good news is your pain and experience is going to help other dads like me! Thanks for keeping us up to date!

Sorry for all your pain Garand in getting the hard drive installed.

It's useful for those of us that don't have one and should be the first thing you do when you fire it up

So I think I'm going to order the Seagate 1TB Hybrid drive. Has anyone else installed a hybrid drive yet?

So I bought the Seagate 1TB Hybrid drive and it arrived in the mail yesterday :excited
I didn't want to have to redownload Destiny before I could play it last night though, so I decided to wait until after I was done playing for the night so I could let everything download overnight.
So I'm done playing I hit "Log out of Destiny" and BAM! Power goes out in the whole north end of the city. Totally my fault I'm sure :bananarock

Oops! Totally forgot to give an update.
So the install went super smooth! Total time (not including re-downloading all my games) was maybe 10-15 minutes. My only complaint was the save files because, as it's been said before, you have to manually select each game save and transfer it to the USB key. I didn't actually NEED to do this as I have PS+ and the saves are backed up online, but I'd never dealt with the online saves and wanted a local backup just in case.
I haven't timed it out, but the cold boot and standby recovery times are noticeably better.
Overall I'm super happy about it! :chiefdance

I forgot to post about my upgrade. it was very easy to do but like tastyfoodname said the saved game transfer was a little tedious. they need to let you select more than one thing at a time. i also noticed that when putting you save files back on your new hard drive it won't let you do it unless you have the game already installed on the system. so for the few games I've either sold or loaned to someone it won't let me put it back on my hard drive.
I do have plenty of space now though. i went with a 2TB drive.
