After you make these, you will never use the crap in a can again. I didn't ever like baked beans until i started making my own, here's the recipe i typed out from what i usually make:

Baked beans( for a half pan ) 13x18ish two and a half inches deep.

1 quart (4 cups) dry Navy beans (simmer for 1.5 hours, reserve juice)

1 large onion, small diced

8 oz. (1/2 pound) bacon

·4.5 oz. (just over half a cup) Molasses

·2 Tablespoons Salt

·¼ Tablespoon black pepper

·¼ Tablespoon dry mustard

·1.5 Cup ketchup

·1.5 Oz. (that's what a shot glass will hold) Worcestershire sauce

·¾ Cup Brown sugar

Pour over beans layered with onion and bacon
Cover (just to the top) beans/sauce with water left after cooking beans
Cook covered for two hours and uncovered for one hour to reduce liquid.

Because you need to make these once in your life.
