unread posts

Question

When I come to the site I look at new replies to my posts then delete what I don't want. Then go to unread posts. Lately when I delete the replies to my post and go to the unread posts there are none. I wasn't on at all yesterday and I know someone must have posted something. Any ideas?

I think when i delete it just deletes them all.

Yes, once you view the messages in any way, they are no longer "new".  For instance, if I log in with tapatalk and get pulled away, it marks all new posts as "read" now.

I was wondering the same since I use the "replies" link to see what threads people added to and its been pretty bare the last few days. Just tested it and it worked though, so maybe just not a lot of replies/bumping going on recently...

Not sure, I've seen some oddities before.  Normally what I see is that I go check the unread and mark all as read when I'm done checking through them.  Double check the unread messages again and it is empty.  Yet on the homepage I can see that there are new posts listed on the right side of the page.  *shrugs*

When you say 'delete' are you meaning 'marking messages as read'?

yes

This is how I have always done it and it always worked.
