20v DeWalt Battery Killed?

I've been running my one and only 20v 5.0ah DeWalt battery a lot on weed eater and sawzall. Last night while doing some pruning with the sawzall it started to bog a bit. Dwarfed a bush and called it a night let the battery charge all night. Went back out to cut up the pieces and it died after 10 minutes of cutting through some 4 and 5 inch dia trunks from the bushes. This battery has been in use for just over a year!! My 18v from my first DeWalt drill are still kicking fine in the drills and impact wrenches and they have been in use for around 5+ years.

Any suggestions?

Called customer service even though it is a little out of warranty they agreed to send a replacement at no charge. Maybe they had a bad lot in 2016 when mine was made?
