Hey All......anyone out there from 2 years ago remember me?

sgt. flint : (24 April 2017 - 11:39 PM)

just started playing WOT again and looking for a clan or group

bergsteiger : (25 April 2017 - 08:31 AM)

Crazy night. Got all my wins AFTER I quit tooning. Very unusual.

The_Dad : (25 April 2017 - 08:36 AM)

similar experience last night... all my wins were BEFORE I started platooning

NeoGP : (25 April 2017 - 10:25 AM)

Hey Flint!

xtc4 : (25 April 2017 - 11:28 AM)

With new mm, having good players at the top of the list seems to make a huge difference. And platooning seems to almost always put you at bottom of the list. So perhaps it makes sense that you good players are winning when playing solo.

Welcome to the forums ToerryFutty :)

Archaic : (25 April 2017 - 11:14 PM)

Yes, platoons seem to be pretty gimped with 3-5-7

sgt. flint : (26 April 2017 - 02:12 AM)

Hey Neo, yes i remember you. any others from the old crew still running?

NeoGP : (26 April 2017 - 10:17 AM)

not sure man..I haven't played wot in 2+ years, alot of changes throughout the 5 clans

SGrant7 : (26 April 2017 - 12:05 PM)

Haven't been on much in the last few days, but are 2 man platoons fairing much better?

bergsteiger : (26 April 2017 - 02:38 PM)

Platooning doesn't seem as big of an issue as Tier 8s. Don't think I've had a single game that I was top tier in an VIII

Can you cook anything else with it? I tried bacon on the weber grill once. Disastrous. Worse then when I tried large sliced pepperoni- and I had to break out the fire extinguisher on that one.

I'm wondering if I can blowtorch a hotdog. Or maybe a slice of balogna. Liquify sliced cheese laid over my fries? Something?

I love sitting back in the recliner with a safe, thick plate to protect me from any molten droppings, then firing up some marshmallows. But after 5 or 6, it gets to be too much. Surely there's something else I can do with the torch besides fancy deserts and campfire treats?

i suppose a hot dog would work, i wouldn't "cook" anything with the torch though, as long as your just heating stuff up you should be good.

Chef,

I see you have the Green Egg Smoker.....(jealousy is kicking in!!) but anyways have you ever tried to make a recipe called a Fatty (not to be confused with the Marijuana fatty)! It looks completely unhealthy but extremely mouth watering and delicious! Anyways I found these things on a smoking meat (No Homo) forum and was curious if you had ever made or tried one? And if you did how did you go about making it!

Later,

Bear

not sure what a fatty is but if it's anythinglike the "bacon explosion" then ys I have made it, more than a few times. It is awesome, bacon stuffed sausage wrapped in bacon and smoked, totally badass.

Basically yes it is Sausage spread flat and you can put whatever you want (somebody put white castle burgers inside once) then roll the sausage up in a roll and surround in checkerboard bacon! And of course smoked! Tempting to make one soon

Hey Chef.. You wouldn't happen to have a good sausage dip recipe.Thinking about putting one together for the SB.I once used a recipe that was basically cream cheese and sausage but it was a bit too rich for my liking .

You could try velvetta cheese, sausage, and two cans of Ro-tel found near the tomatoes on your grocery store (walmart).....it's like cocaine on a tortilla chip

Ingredients
1 pound fresh, ground pork sausage
1/2 pound fresh, ground spicy pork sausage
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers [rotella]

brown sausage and drain excess fat
cut cream cheese blocks into small cubes. Place the cream cheese, tomatoes and sausage into a slow cooker. Heat over a medium heat. Stir while the cream cheese melts, once melted your done.

You can substitute the 1lb of regular for spicy if you want it hotter, or add some fresh chopped jalapenos in there. You could always change pork to beef or venison also.

I got a question for ya Chef. My wife is on a dairy free gluten free diet and we need to come up with a few new recipes. We can use either, chicken, pork chops, ground beef lean or petite sirloin steaks. any ideas?
