Welcome to the forums sgt. flint :)

sgt. flint : (24 April 2017 - 11:38 PM)

Hey All......anyone out there from 2 years ago remember me?

sgt. flint : (24 April 2017 - 11:39 PM)

just started playing WOT again and looking for a clan or group

bergsteiger : (25 April 2017 - 08:31 AM)

Crazy night. Got all my wins AFTER I quit tooning. Very unusual.

The_Dad : (25 April 2017 - 08:36 AM)

similar experience last night... all my wins were BEFORE I started platooning

NeoGP : (25 April 2017 - 10:25 AM)

Hey Flint!

xtc4 : (25 April 2017 - 11:28 AM)

With new mm, having good players at the top of the list seems to make a huge difference. And platooning seems to almost always put you at bottom of the list. So perhaps it makes sense that you good players are winning when playing solo.

Welcome to the forums ToerryFutty :)

Archaic : (25 April 2017 - 11:14 PM)

Yes, platoons seem to be pretty gimped with 3-5-7

sgt. flint : (26 April 2017 - 02:12 AM)

Hey Neo, yes i remember you. any others from the old crew still running?

NeoGP : (26 April 2017 - 10:17 AM)

not sure man..I haven't played wot in 2+ years, alot of changes throughout the 5 clans

SGrant7 : (26 April 2017 - 12:05 PM)

Haven't been on much in the last few days, but are 2 man platoons fairing much better?

bergsteiger : (26 April 2017 - 02:38 PM)

Platooning doesn't seem as big of an issue as Tier 8s. Don't think I've had a single game that I was top tier in an VIII

Well Hi. Hapa told me about this yesterday so I took a look.

I live in Maine. I am a father as my girlfriend has a son. Yes "I'm am not his real dad" he reminds me often... We don't see eye to eye often, but when his mother got sick a while back, his grandparents basically let him make all the shots, so he has a hard time when I tell him no.

As for gaming I am a table top gamer and PC gamer. I got out of the console market years ago. Right now things like Total War and WoWs are my games of choice. I am not the best at them, but do well I feel. For table top, I do Warhammer fantasy (yes it is dead now....), Warhammer 40k, Flames of War, Naval Thunder (WW1 and WW2 naval actions), and Kings of War (my new fantasy game).

"True leaders understand that leadership is not about them but about those they serve. It is not about exalting themselves but about lifting others up.”

I can imagine a no more rewarding career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worth while, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction: "I served in the United States Navy." -JFK

Welcome Tim.  Great that you know Hapa.  He is a stand out dad here.  Glad you decided to check us out, and yeah, I feel you on the bandwidth issue.  Some of these dads have their own fiber optic cable, and like to brag about their speed in their signature.  PFFT!!!  Anyway man, I'm sure you will get it, and maybe just have rotate us when your son is off or away.  I hope you enjoy the site, and being part of this great community.
