Welcome to the forums sgt. flint :)

sgt. flint : (24 April 2017 - 11:38 PM)

Hey All......anyone out there from 2 years ago remember me?

sgt. flint : (24 April 2017 - 11:39 PM)

just started playing WOT again and looking for a clan or group

bergsteiger : (25 April 2017 - 08:31 AM)

Crazy night. Got all my wins AFTER I quit tooning. Very unusual.

The_Dad : (25 April 2017 - 08:36 AM)

similar experience last night... all my wins were BEFORE I started platooning

NeoGP : (25 April 2017 - 10:25 AM)

Hey Flint!

xtc4 : (25 April 2017 - 11:28 AM)

With new mm, having good players at the top of the list seems to make a huge difference. And platooning seems to almost always put you at bottom of the list. So perhaps it makes sense that you good players are winning when playing solo.

joey791 : (25 April 2017 - 11:49 AM)

Welcome to the forums ToerryFutty :)

Archaic : (25 April 2017 - 11:14 PM)

Yes, platoons seem to be pretty gimped with 3-5-7

sgt. flint : (26 April 2017 - 02:12 AM)

Hey Neo, yes i remember you. any others from the old crew still running?

NeoGP : (26 April 2017 - 10:17 AM)

not sure man..I haven't played wot in 2+ years, alot of changes throughout the 5 clans

SGrant7 : (26 April 2017 - 12:05 PM)

Haven't been on much in the last few days, but are 2 man platoons fairing much better?

bergsteiger : (26 April 2017 - 02:38 PM)

Platooning doesn't seem as big of an issue as Tier 8s. Don't think I've had a single game that I was top tier in an VIII

Since the DHO tag in Destiny is pointless I'm considering creating a new group for those of us who are active here and play regularly.

This isn't a revolt against this awesome place, but a way for us to have a tighter association between those of us who play together.

I know that the only things clans give you right now is some achievements, but we've made those arguments in the other thread.

Let me know if you are interested and I'll create a group and send you the link.

Are  you able to remove people from the Bungie site clan list?  What about asking  for a current roll call and those who do not answer are removed?

May I squat down and share my bag of tea with you?

It's not pointless int he fact that it promotes our site in-game.  I find that as good advertising.

I agree with you Panixx. I mean we made shirts with DHO on it and everything. But I would also like to clean up the Bungie.net clan a bit and bring it inline with the site here, and that isn't happening.

It's sort of silly but I feel proud to have the DHO on my name tag and I associate it with the awesome group here I've met and played with and interacted with. But there is a couple hundred more people who have the DHO on their name who have never been here and we don't know.

We've requested

We've requested that some of the active players are made admins of the current clan with permission to clean it up and bring it more in line with membership here and Ruiner disagrees that there is a point to it.

So we can't do any cleanup on the Bungie.net clan.

We could keep the DHO as a base clan name and add something to it

True.

I had an idea as a joke to call it "There Goes Flawless Raider".

I just want to play with our group.  This clan or that clan.  Whatever works.

Clans need an active web site forum.  We need a place to discuss the game.  We have to be able to organize.

This website provides that.  Nothing bungie provides seems to promote any sort of social unity.

Seems to me the debate isn't 100% over in the other thread. I wouldn't be too hasty. Right now it's Ruiner vs us players (just in the opinions being expressed) but even he said it's up to the site admins. I'd wait and see where this goes before a clan "mutiny" (purposely exaggerating for humor).

I guess I can request Aftr to comment.

I know all those guys could really care less about Destiny though... :)

I'm all for it, we could even keep "DHO" in the name to keep the branding "DHO: [insert name]". I think the big thing with this is being able to organize a little bit on the bungie side in regards to their site. whether that's just to be able to view other peoples characters better without having to go through dozens or the thought process that eventually (I tend to think sooner than later) bungie is going to add to their clan feature and make it a lot more versatile. For communication, events and general communication we will always use this site but if we need a little more organization and someone is willing to do it...why not?
