Hey All......anyone out there from 2 years ago remember me?

sgt. flint : (24 April 2017 - 11:39 PM)

just started playing WOT again and looking for a clan or group

bergsteiger : (25 April 2017 - 08:31 AM)

Crazy night. Got all my wins AFTER I quit tooning. Very unusual.

The_Dad : (25 April 2017 - 08:36 AM)

similar experience last night... all my wins were BEFORE I started platooning

NeoGP : (25 April 2017 - 10:25 AM)

Hey Flint!

xtc4 : (25 April 2017 - 11:28 AM)

With new mm, having good players at the top of the list seems to make a huge difference. And platooning seems to almost always put you at bottom of the list. So perhaps it makes sense that you good players are winning when playing solo.

Welcome to the forums ToerryFutty :)

Archaic : (25 April 2017 - 11:14 PM)

Yes, platoons seem to be pretty gimped with 3-5-7

sgt. flint : (26 April 2017 - 02:12 AM)

Hey Neo, yes i remember you. any others from the old crew still running?

NeoGP : (26 April 2017 - 10:17 AM)

not sure man..I haven't played wot in 2+ years, alot of changes throughout the 5 clans

SGrant7 : (26 April 2017 - 12:05 PM)

Haven't been on much in the last few days, but are 2 man platoons fairing much better?

bergsteiger : (26 April 2017 - 02:38 PM)

Platooning doesn't seem as big of an issue as Tier 8s. Don't think I've had a single game that I was top tier in an VIII

While I had played the demo on this on the xbox 360 before, I tried it again on the Xbox one last night and I found my new home for driving around endlessly. This game is a blast with the open world and the events are good to challenge me while also allowing me to set the competition so that I won't get frustrated losing to a better AI (or drivatar in this case). This game lets me have fun while going through the storyline and the open world is a blast. I found myself playing and playing....and then realizing how long I had been playing....wow!

My first foray in the Forza world and it fits what I wanted for driving with the huge open world. Had been thinking of Forza Motorsport 6 but it sounds like that is enclosed tracks for those that want to live the life of a driving simulation while I prefer the open world and freedom to wonder/explore.

Definitely better for my taste than Need for Speed Rivals where I was getting frustrated when I went racer and kept getting busted (yes, I'm a horrible driver!:banghead

Finally a fun game to drop in to race about. The drivatar system is a blast too since it makes it feel less of a solo affair at times.

Also, I know I'm late to the party and you folks have probably been there, done that :notworthy ....but its fun for me:wedge

Loved Forza Horizons 2 Fast and Furious.Sounds like the Horizons games are what the good Need For Speed games were.Or maybe the Burnout games which are/were fun.

Funny enough, I went ahead and got Forza 6 Motorsports too and I'm enjoying that just as much. Seems that both of these games cure any need I have for hitting the road virtually. Plus, I can play these with my oldest who has also started enjoying Forza 6, although I think his main interest is getting more and more "cool" cars.

I'm not sure how I'm going to go back to any Need for Speed games with how the Forza games play. Definitely a blast, even though I mainly play them in the solo mode or with my kids.
