Welcome to the forums sgt. flint :)

sgt. flint : (24 April 2017 - 11:38 PM)

Hey All......anyone out there from 2 years ago remember me?

sgt. flint : (24 April 2017 - 11:39 PM)

just started playing WOT again and looking for a clan or group

bergsteiger : (25 April 2017 - 08:31 AM)

Crazy night. Got all my wins AFTER I quit tooning. Very unusual.

The_Dad : (25 April 2017 - 08:36 AM)

similar experience last night... all my wins were BEFORE I started platooning

NeoGP : (25 April 2017 - 10:25 AM)

Hey Flint!

xtc4 : (25 April 2017 - 11:28 AM)

With new mm, having good players at the top of the list seems to make a huge difference. And platooning seems to almost always put you at bottom of the list. So perhaps it makes sense that you good players are winning when playing solo.

joey791 : (25 April 2017 - 11:49 AM)

Welcome to the forums ToerryFutty :)

Archaic : (25 April 2017 - 11:14 PM)

Yes, platoons seem to be pretty gimped with 3-5-7

sgt. flint : (26 April 2017 - 02:12 AM)

Hey Neo, yes i remember you. any others from the old crew still running?

NeoGP : (26 April 2017 - 10:17 AM)

not sure man..I haven't played wot in 2+ years, alot of changes throughout the 5 clans

SGrant7 : (26 April 2017 - 12:05 PM)

Haven't been on much in the last few days, but are 2 man platoons fairing much better?

bergsteiger : (26 April 2017 - 02:38 PM)

Platooning doesn't seem as big of an issue as Tier 8s. Don't think I've had a single game that I was top tier in an VIII

Anyone interested in some gear. I can make some goodies for you, It will be for the Heavy armor and steel weapons. I'm in the Breton/Redgauard skill that works with Starmetal. I have lots of Mats for the following:

-Iron Ingot Lvl 1 – 14
-Steel Ingot Lvl 16 – 24
-Orichalcum Ingot Lvl 26 – 34
- Dwarven Ingot Lvl 36 – 44

Also if anyone has any honing stones, I can increase the type of weapons or armor for you :)

How are you (or anyone) handling racial motifs? I have my main character leveling and experiencing the world of Tamriel. I made two more characters to play around with -- one of them is my blacksmith and the other one was going to be my clothing guy. After passing any (very sparse) racial books to my blacksmith toon I realized that I don't want to waste these motifs on two characters. So; now my blacksmith will also be my clothes person.I'm thinking about throwing down some real money to get those motif packs from the Crown Store.

I found the nord motiff in some dungeon. So I have that unlocked plus my redguard style. I bought the Ancient Elf motif, because I love how their gear looks. The thing is I need me some pallidiums.

I can make daggers in the redguard style, nord, and ancient elf (given i have enough pallidiums :lol)

I have lots of mats to make you lvl 40 daggers, have to double check if i researched any dagger traits, I don't think i did but i will check. Have a decent amount of homing stones I can make it green for you, think i have a fair amount of dwarven oil as well to make it blue. Grain solvents I believe i am short to make it purple.

Any of you guys that have Honing stones, dwarven oil, and even grain solvents send them up to me if you have no use for it, because I am your huckleberry.

That's pretty much all I did yesterday was run around gathering.I'll see what all I have and send ya some stuff. I am mainly focused on leveling tailoring so i can make leather armor for myself. Seems the best way to level up is dismantling things.

You higher levels drop white stuff into the guild bank and lower levels can dismantle it for good gains. :)

to research things you have to have a weapon or armor that has a trait description on it, it can be increase item durablity, or increase item for sale, etc etc...once you have one with a trait you can research it, but keep in mind that it will destroy that item being research. So say you have a fav weapon with a trait, but you want to learn more in research, you have to make that choice if you want to sacrifice that fav weapon for the greater good :lol

Ahhhh...

That is right.

Is this a different option than dismantle?

I need to watch for that when I am trashing stuff.
