  1. The micropatch that hit today has some information in it regarding a new challenge to earn the TS-5 for free. The TS-5 is the non-turreted Premium tier VIII tank destroyer for the US. There is a thread about the TS-5 here. The event will run from April 5 - 15. *Below is the official release from WoT with all the details about the event and the tank. https://worldoftanks.com/en/news/announcements/american-challenge/ https://thedailybounce.net/world-of-tanks/micropatch-secrets-space-crew-skins-possible-marathon/ The patch also includes a few new crew skins. Details about the crew members can also be found at the link above. *Updated to include the NA WoT article about the event.
  2. All the details at the link below. Basically a faster T28 that looks like an E3. Not sure how the DPM compares, but this one is sitting at +2,800 DPM before equipment and skills. It will easily go over 3k. The premium round pen is quite good too at 300mm. https://thedailybounce.net/world-of-tanks/supertest-ts-5-american-tank-destroyer/
  3. So a new tier VIII Premium Soviet TD entered Supertest. It's basically the Russian version of the Skorpion G. It has higher Alpha, similar pen, better camo and worse aim. Most importantly, it has a turret! The article from The Daily Bounce is below. World of Tanks Supertest: SU-130PM Soviet Tank Destroyer Today Wargaming is starting the closed test of a new Soviet Tier VIII Premium tank destroyer SU-130PM. An unhistorical vehicle based on the SU-100P light tank destroyer prototype. A fully operational SU-100P unit passed the trials and was greenlit for service, but it never entered mass production. Two other versions were tested, SU-152P with a 152mm anti-tank gun and a self-propelled version also with a 152mm gun denominated SU-152G. The surviving vehicles can be seen in Kubinka Tank Museum. The main difference between the game version and the completed prototype is the armament: in-game it boasts a more powerful 130mm cannon. Gameplay-wise, the SU-130PM is a compact vehicle with decent mobility, great camo and a hard-hitting gun with an alpha of 520 and a penetration of 243 mm with a standard round. You can hardly call this gun a sniper as its base accuracy is 0.35, but it still allows you to be effective at almost any distance. The SU-130PM is agile enough to benefit from switching flanks and firing positions. Its top speed is 65 km/h but it’s attainable after a period of time and on terrain with good traction—off-road it doesn’t perform so well. The cruising speed of the SU-130PM is between 45–55 km/h. The SU-130PM is very scantily armoured, has a small HP pool of 1100 points and a limited horizontal firing arc of 155 degrees. To survive in battle, you’ll need to rely on camouflage and using your mobility wisely. In resume, the SU-130P will be the Soviet version of the already in-game Skorpion G, but with better camouflage values. Last but not least, you should note this will be the first turreted Soviet tank destroyer, possibly opening the doors to the introduction of a new branch of Soviet turreted tank destroyers. Until we can confirm this, we will have to wait and see what will turn out of this vehicle.
  4. The details of a new tier VIII Swedish MT have now surfaced. Following the normal trend for WG lately, it's safe to assume that this will lead to a new tier X line that is yet to be officially announced. Currently, the tier VII is where the Swedish MT's end in the Tech Tree and the HT's start at tier VIII. If you're keeping track, this will be the 1st non Premium tier VIII MT for the Swedes (the Primo Victoria being the Premium). This new one however, follows the other Swedish tanks with higher alpha and better power to weight ratio. It will have a much softer turret like the Leo before it compared to the great turret of the Primo Victoria. Like the rest of the Swedes, it will have great gun depression angles with very little being visible when poking ridge lines. It certainly has a look of a mix between the tier VII Leo and the tier VIII Czech TVP VTU. I really enjoyed the Leo and absolutely hated the TVP VTU. You can read more details about the tank at the link below. https://thedailybounce.net/world-of-tanks/supertest-lansen-c-swedish-tier-viii-medium/
  5. World of Tanks Supertest: Object 432 BY HARKONNEN We can’t deny that Russia has indeed too many tanks that can be added to the game, because of this Wargaming continues to introduce new tanks to Supertest to choose possible suitable vehicles. A new Premium light tank that plays like the top vehicle of the Soviet light tank branch: low silhouette, great camo and an impressive gun for a light tank. Please welcome Object 432 to the Supertest! This vehicle is different from its Tier VIII counterpart, the LTTB, because it combines the ability to spot and deal damage at the same time. The initial test will have an LTTB modified 85-mm gun with better stats, but a second test will be done with an impressive 100-mm gun. The final vehicle will depend on tests results! All this seems quite nice, a tank that will fit a similar gameplay to the T-100 is quite a find, or is it? For those who don’t know Object432, let me use it’s more common name: T-64 MBT. Wargaming found a way to introduce a 1967 Main Battle Tank to the game by changing some characteristics and re-class it as a light tank! What do you think? Yay or Nay?
  6. WG is running an event where you can vote for your favourite of 4 tier VIII Premium tanks. The tank that you vote for will instantly unlock the tank for a 24-hour rental period. The tank with the most votes will have a 10% discount applied to it in the store at the end of the voting. To vote, just redeem the voting code that corresponds to the tank you wish to vote for. Voting is open from Oct. 8th to Oct. 14th. The tank sale will happen 2-3 days later. You can track which tank is leading the polls at the Live Vote Tally. Currently the M 41 90 is leading by a huge margin. Meet the Candidates: VEHICLE: VOTING CODE: VIIIleKpz M 41 90 mm LEKPZM4190 VIIIT26E5 T26E5 VIIIT92 T92LT VIIIAMX Canon d'assaut 105 AMX105
  7. WG seems to just be pumping out Premium tier VIII's for every line these days.... World of Tanks Supertest: M41D Chinese Light Tank BY HARKONNEN Today, a new Chinese light tank makes it to Supertest: M41D. This tank is an M41 Bulldog variant build for the Taiwanese army, but it will be introduced under the Chinese tech tree as a Premium Tier VIII light tank. Following extensive trials of the M41 light tank, the Taiwanese Army decided to get update their M41 light tanks with M41D upgrade kits. The engine was replaced with a Detroit Diesel 8V-71T V-8 increasing its operational range from 160 to 450 km. In the M41D upgrade, the 76mm gun has also received some changes with a fume extractor and a pepperpot type muzzle break being fitted. Other improvements to the M41D light tank were the installation of side skirts to help keep down dust, a band of six electrically operated smoke grenade launchers mounted on each side of the turret and the ability to lay a smoke screen by injecting diesel fuel into the exhaust outlets. Of course in World of Tanks, it won’t have so many features, but stat-wise will be similar to the original M41, the main differences will be a slightly better gun, slower acceleration and less view range. The vehicle will be similar to other Chinese light tanks, which lean to firepower instead of mobility. In short, this tank will be a bit more of a damage dealer.
  8. From the Daily Bounce: World of Tanks: Flexible Premium Account Ever wanted to use Premium Account only on days you are playing World of Tanks? It doesn’t seem to be far from becoming a reality, as Wargaming is now testing with a few selected players a new flexible Premium Account option. How does it work? The player buys a bulk of thirty days and each day will only be activated once you play a battle., meaning you will get 24 hours Premium Account only when you play. This could be a really nice way of selling Premium Account to players who just play just a few days a week, or if you are a weekend warrior you can buy more than half year Premium for a very small price. What do you think, would you like this implemented and would you use it? Personally, I use only a few hours of my Premium time each week. Lately I'm only getting on between 1 & 3 days in a week. Some of those days, I play less than 5 battles. Most of my Premium time just disappears without ever getting used. Being able to buy it and use it as I want would be great. In every survey that has asked open questions about future improvements, I've always asked for the ability to pause Premium time. Even if there was limits on the number of times per month or a small Gold cost (like 10 gold or something). Currently I have more than 400 days Premium... Due to buying a year at 50% off early last year, followed by the X-Mas boxes and lastly a 70% off coupon a few months back. Had I not received the 70% off coupon, I was considering letting my Premium run out. If that does happen, this is the way I would likely buy Premium in the future if it was an option.
  9. Similar to the Italian Marathon, there will be another marathon coming for 2 weeks in Sept where you can earn the new Premium Tier VIII British Heavy Tank (and/or possibly earn a discount towards it). WG mention in a previous video that the missions would be easier this time than they were for the Italian Marathon. More details will be coming in another video and article in the near future. Once I have that info, I'll be posting it here.
  10. World of Tanks Supertest: IS-3A Inverse Auto-Reloader By: HARKONNEN With the introduction of Italian tanks, Wargaming also introduced a brand new mechanism: auto-reloading. The Soviet IS-3A was supposed to have a similar mechanism installed into it, eliminating the need of a loader, but it was never implemented and the tank itself is just a worse IS-3 with three crew members. Wargaming has now decided to bring this tank to Supertest to test yet another new mechanism: inverted auto-reloading. You might be asking what is the “inverted” and it’s quite easy to explain. While the Italian top Tier tanks have an auto-reloading that decreases the reload time you load one round into the mechanism, with the Soviet inverted system is just the opposite, it takes longer to reload one the more rounds you have in the mechanism. Keeping it simple, the first reload takes less time than the last one. The idea is to create a heavy tank that favours pronounced attack, able to conserve firepower when the battle slows down or while its changing positions, dealing about 1,000 burst damage when in combat and keep fighting with just one round. No further details were given if the current IS-3A in-game will get this feature if successfully tested, but the main objective is to test a new gameplay concept for an auto-reloader heavy tank that isn’t an IS-3 variant. In my personal opinion, we might see this new mechanism introduced to the Soviet heavy tank ST-II as I had some tips about this. Only time will tell if we will get the inverted auto-reloading mechanism added to game or not.
  11. Right now the premium pass for Battlefield 1 is free till September 18. I know the game is only $6 on Xbox and Playstation right now, so even if you ever think you might own this game, better to get a placeholder on this pass now then miss this great opportunity. $50 value.
  12. Hi all, I just noticed World of Tanks put out an activation code for 500 free gold and seven premium days. Enter this code: PLAYTWA You have to go to the World of Tanks website and log in using your usual password. Then click on your name in the top right corner. You will see a menu drop down, and at the bottom it says “Activate Wargaming Code.” Click on that, and you’ll get a small window with space to write in the code. Once you’ve put in the code, you should get your gold and premium days AFTER the Update 1.0 happens. I think you have to activate this code BEFORE the update though, so try to do it now. Happy Tanking, Finn
  13. Very rare tank. Rumor is that it will be available for one day sale. Anyone have this tank? Is it good for anything, or has the power creep made this just a collectors item?
  14. Guys, I have been having a hell of a time finding an answer to this question: Do I suffer a penalty for loading a higher tier crew in a lower tier premium tank. For example, if I wanted to train my Tier VII T-43 crew in a Tier V Matilda II. Does the crew not train as fast as it would in a Tier VIII T-54? I understand that the T-54 will earn experience at a faster rate but I also know that the lower tier premiums get a bigger combat experience multiplier. Just trying to figure out if I need to buy a Tier VIII premium for training or can stick with the lower Tier premiums. TIA
  15. JGA

    AC4 EX

This new AC4 experimental sure has me interested. Been wanting another tier 5 - 7 British premium anyway and then this one shows up. Looks like a slow Cromwell with a gun that has much better pen. Going to take a hard look at it this weekend. Anyone else have thoughts on this tank so far?
  16. I just read on armoredtalk.com/ about some new premium bundles available for Armored Warefare. bspooky did a really nice job breaking down the economics of the bundles. I am wondering if anyone knows anything about the exclusive tanks in them. Are they a way for Obsidian to generate cash, or are they actually going to be fun to play? BTW keep up the good work bspooky.
