This fundamental change necessitated a fresh look at a player’s damage output in both PvE and PvP. Primary ammo weapons and Special ammo weapons may exist in either the Kinetic or Energy slot. Heavy ammo weapons can exist only in the Power slot. Ammo type and damage type are now fixed attributes of a specific weapon. Ammo distribution models updated entirely to support weapon slot changes. Whisper of the Worm Developer Insight: The tuning of Destiny weapons and abilities is inexorably tied to the systems that we build upon. Ultimately our goal is to still provide gameplay challenge despite a global increase in player damage output due to the new systems introduced. To properly support the higher uptime of Shotguns, Snipers, and Fusions, the following changes were made to all weapons in the game.   4. A new event is now live called Solstice of Heroes, but only on PS4. This event is open to all Destiny players, regardless of expansions purchased. This goes from today to August 28th. It is a chance to earn exotic gear and make your way up to 400 Light Power before the drop of the newest expansion, Forsaken, in September. It's all about completing challenges and finishing remixed missions, but mostly it's the challenges. So look for those challenges and get leveled up.

  6. Hey Dads, Its been a while since I been on the site. First let me apologize for not checking up on a lot of you guys. Through your friendship, I have found a community that appreciates gaming, beer, and laughs, as well as our kids. I hope we form that bond through more ventures and find ourselves using our time wisely. i wanted to ask the help of of my fellow dads in some gaming ventures.   7. Greetings Destiny Dads, you know how you never know who is online playing Destiny until you turn on your console? Now, what if you are just doing some Netflix and chill, when suddenly you get an alert on your phone that someone is wanting to play some Destiny? Maybe schedule a raid? With discord you can do that. Just mute the channels and games you aren't interested in, and stay subscribed to what you do care about. Now, if phoenix wants to play some Destiny, he can just give a shout out, "Hey dads, looking for some #destiny buddies to do a raid". BAM! Now everyone signed up on Discord will get an alert about it. We are working out the kinks with it right now in fact, so you might have to just get assigned to a role for the games you are interested in, but we can make this work.   8. Hey Dads, I have not played Destiny in over a month since COD:BO3 and Halo 5 Guardians. Not primarily because of those games but of the replay of the game and the horrible drops in crucible, nightfall, and raids. The sparrow racing was okay and the hard mode with particular quests was like blah, okay. And to get the new exotics with this ridiculous quests just takes me over the top. However, I think my faith is renewed. I picked the game up this weekend after a terrible look of what Xur had to offer and played some strikes. My first strike was with the Cabal brothers and I had a three of coins already in my account. (I believe this was already on my account when I left the game some time ago) So when I took down these big guys, I got an exotic drop. I was excited but what excited me even more was that when i turned it in I got an 310 Super good advice. I complained on forums, twitter and the game itself about the horrible drops and finally was rewarded. This was a good day. So i think I will be back until I get pissed again. Happy hunting.

The fireteam must ensure that no one player holds the aura during the damage phase more than once. Since it typically takes three to five phases to take out the Warpriest, the fireteam just needs to have the players that last held the aura not step on a plate. Expert teams that can take the Destiny boss down in two phases shouldn’t have any trouble. Possible rewards for the challenge on Normal include a 310 Light level Artifact and weapon, along with a “Worm God’s Servant” emblem and one of the missing Calcified Fragments. The rewards on Hard mode are the same, but at 320. You can get the Normal mode rewards in Hard mode in addition to the 320 level rewards.
