  1. I run a Samsung 850 Pro at work, and I wish I had (without the coin) one at home. The Intel SSD I have is garbage, and has been steadily dropping according to HDD Sentinel. I bought a cheap ADATA to hold me over until I do a new build. If I were spending the money I'd go with a Samsung or Crucial. I'd only bother with m.2/nvme if the price was close/comparable to SATA.
  2. I'll be picking it up after my wife gets bored with Zelda. She did mention it's getting too difficult for her. I should have preordered it for 12 bucks off at Amazon, but I was buying Destiny 2 PC that week, and decided to hold off. I will wait until i can get a used copy somewhere.
  3. False, I'm off this week. The person below me could use a cigar. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk
  4. Yes definitely similarities to Titan Fall. It reminds me a little of Defiance as well. Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
  5. already beat da:o. not sure i'd enjoy assassins creed as i didn't finish the last one I played. watchdogs looks interesting, but the reviews kept me from buying it. I've been on the fence about getting a new gold membership.
  6. mine was around 200-300 bucks, but didn't include structures on the property, just a staked survey of the property itself. that was at my old house with about a half acre of land. I think it was 150 to add the house to the survey, but not 100%. I know you probably need the house with the lines being so tight. In Indianapolis, you have to have a staked survey with the house on it to get building permits for additions and improvements.
  7. Looks like it's a dryer for processing old photos. Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks guys! Ended up super sick in the hospital with a colonoscopy scheduled next Friday. 35 going on 50 shortly. Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
  9. I remember Brad kept missing deadlines and pissing off MS. Something about his work being art and what not. Yeah over promising, under delivering, and missed timelines are huge factors. Pubs want results so they can get as quick a return on investment as possible, and I understand the sentiment, but it sucks that hype and marketing are more important than quality anymore. 10. I loved rift. The downside was that they caved to the part of the base that wanted to make each class fill any role... mage tanks, rogue healers, etc. Then it went free 2 play and i was done. My guild was AWESOME, and that was a huge draw originally. It was like being back in oldshcool WoW guildwise. The customization of specs was second to none. Rifts were fun, and gave you breaks during grinding/questing. i loved VG:SOH at first. I about maxed out diplomacy very early in the game for the mount. I loved the ability to move while casting with my cleric. I had quite a bit of fun... as long as you didn't want to do a dungeon, play a broken class, or log out on a bridge. I took a break from vanguard due to time constraints, and when I came back most things had changed for the better, but some changes for worse. They redid the profession levels and somehow my diplomacy got knocked from a very high level to near novice. My mount had become unusable until I hit a level requirement, and the population had tanked. They had started combining servers, but we all know how that goes. I guess Aion may have been a bigger waste of money, but not time. While I barely played it after spending the 50-60 bucks on it, so it wasnt as big of an "investment" i guess. I tried EQ back in the day and couldn't get into it. I liked EQ2, but not enough to pay for it. I played RO (private server) and FlyFF, which are korean MMOs i believe for a while. WoW was my favorite. Played it vanilla thru cata.
  11. Yeah LOTRO didn't really get my goat either. It seemed weird. Conan went from very interesting to being overly simplified. The beta ruined it for me. The beta also ruined division for me. I was into rift before f2p, and had a blast. Being a healer through damage really appealed to me. Then it got to every class could fill almost any role and crossed into the realm of ridiculous. Worst MMO I ever spent money on guess to vanguard saga of heroes. Such potential thrown in the trash. Sorry to go off topic. Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk

    Vanilla WoW?

Yeah, I know I look back at kinda like the good old days, and at the time the accomplishments seemed great. I mean having an epic land mount was a huge deal back then! I also realize that it took months of daily grinding (with no dailies) to get there. I also had RL friends that played back then, and guild culture was waaaaaaaay different in classic. I wouldn't mind casual play with other DHO members, but I was never a speed leveler, and usually my friends out leveled me in a hurry. My original "60" http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/llane/Quokka/simple(hit 60 as Manetheren on Twisting Nether (RP-PVP))

    Vanilla WoW?

I put months of my life into that game. I'd say most of it is Rose colored glasses. I mean vanilla was good, bc was great, and wotlk was good. I remember how much time I put in for my epic ground mount and my first 60, and all the fun I had, but then reality pops in and says, man you don't have that kind of time anymore. No raiding until 2-3 am, or spending hours every night grinding for gold or farming mats. The sense of community in vanilla and even bc was something that wow could never recapture. You knew all the elite folks on your server and the big guilds. Being in a good guild was like being in a family and meant helping each other, especially when it took hours to get a strat or scholo group. Queueing AV and waiting 45+ minutes for a pop on a PvP server. I had a blast, and I miss it. I just know it wouldn't be the same, and I was never a solo kind of guy. I might be interested in a 2x experience kind of server, but even then I'm not sure. Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
