Xbox One X - The Next Xbox

...and after all of the thought I have given this it is tempting.

Xbox One X - The Next Xbox

That's where I am right now. I'm currently running an Xbox One S with 2tb of memory, a Kinect, and an Elite controller and I'm pretty happy with it. My biggest issue is the amount of HD space. My plan is to wait until the release the second iteration of the One X.

Xbox One X - The Next Xbox

I'm going to wait. Right now I have an Xbox One S. It has the 2tb drive and I don't want to lose that to have the latest console. I have a 4k TV but my understanding is that the games I have now will play but won't necessarily play or look any better (unless I buy the "enhanced" editions. I want the Xbox One X, but will wait for one of the later versions to be released (remember XBox One, Xbox One Elite, Xbox One S?). I'm excited about a new console but need the additional hard drive space.

    What's your EDC?

Thanks. The 1911 was a plain jane CDP II. I found a couple of local guys who started their own business (both veterans). The did the graphite black cerakote, reversed crowned the barrel, and reworked the trigger pull down to a crisp 3lbs. I can't afford a full custom 1911 so this is as close as I will get. The K6s is all stock with the exception of the grips. Both are great shooters.

    Wet Shaving

I'm still wet shaving (wouldn't go back now for all of the tea in China). I am now using Sir Hare shaving soap and a friend turned me onto a synthetic shaving brush that is the best brush I have ever used and is only about $12. Combine that shave soap lather with a little Proraso shaving cream and I have one very smooth shave. I also switched to the Feather blades. They are super sharp and I had to make sure my lather was proper to avoid drawing blood.

    What's your EDC?

My daily carry is one of the above: my Kimber Compact CDP II (just back from the gunsmith) or my Kimber K6s loaded with Buffalo Bore .357 rounds designed for short barrels. The 1911 I carry in a Milt Sparks Criterion and the snubby I carry in a Milt Sparks Versamax II.

So what phone do you have?

T-Mobile Galaxy Note 5 (hoping for a release of the Note 8 soon).

    Dads playing Mass Effect: Andromeda

I currently own them all (just finished replaying ME3) and plan on getting it on XBox One.

    anyone else shopping online more?

I live in a Big 10 college town, so we have plenty of stores around, but I'm just plain too lazy to go out and shop. I also have Amazon Prime (which pays for itself). I love electronics, but Best Buy here is a rip-off. I'll go in to play with something that I'm interested in, but I'm usually going to order it online. I'm also into photography and can't get any high end lenses without having to drive to Chicago (which I refuse to do), so that stuff get's ordered online. I just find the convenience great as well as the fact that there is usually a cost savings. When it comes to my cigars, I purchase locally because I want to support my local shop.

    Got My Hellcat

I'm green with envy! I know I'm late to this post, but congrats and enjoy it.

    Just wondering

I guess for me gaming is not how I challenge myself. Gameplay is important, but a good storyline just keeps me going. I recently download Deus Ex for the Xbox 360 (playable on the Xbox One) and set it on the medium setting and just cruised through the game loving the story line. I guess that is where the excitement is for me. I avoid online play altogether unless it is with a group of friends. I don't have the right temperament for the unruly kiddies and immature adults that you tend to run into playing online.
  13. I have tried multi-player games like Destiny and Rainbox Six Seige. As you know, both of these are multi-player centric games. Both of them got me to thinking about why I game. I don't do it to be competitive (I have admit that I don't have a competitive nature). I found that the truth is that I don't play games on the hardest setting, I usually pick the easier setting and find that the most compelling part of most games for me is the storyline. I'm a super casual player. Playing for me is about the enjoyment. I have way too much to do to get "good" at gaming. Does anyone else feel this way, or am I a gaming anomaly?

    Any Cigar Dads in here?

Thanks for the endorsement. I'm going to order a sampler of each!

    Any Cigar Dads in here?

My daily smoke is the Rocky Patel Edge. I also enjoy Avo XO's. The cool part about cigar smoking is trying new sticks. Right now I'm contemplating ordering a sample of Obsidian cigars. The reviews are good, but they are not available locally.
